The shower was antiquated, seriously, why still use separate hot and cold taps? Plus, the mattress was softer than a marshmallow. I would have almost left a good review but then realized nobody even offered me a welcome gift, which I expected. Clearly, I'm not boutique enough for them.

Consider a room facing the garden for peace and scenic views, especially during breakfast.

A spacious stay near EU commission
The hotel boasts spacious rooms with kitchenette facilities. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and its proximity to Schuman Metro station made exploring easy.
The hotel shows its age. Peeling paint and thin walls allow for quite a bit of noise from the street and neighboring rooms, which can disturb your sleep.

Comforts of brand-new room with a garden view balcony were fabulous. The location was perfect and nice: a market and a bakery were within walking distance.

I enjoyed my stay in a spacious room with a nice kitchenette, and the location is perfect for exploring the nearby Parc du Cinquantenaire and the fine Saint Michael and Gudula Cathedral, both within easy walking distance, making city strolls a true delight.

Location
Some staff are not nice to children. My children were told off for asking for a glass cup where there is none in the room. A staff called us to like warn us to warn my children not to ask to come for cup again just in case something is missing, in a way my children are thieves. Its so embarassing AND ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great place. Huge, clean rooms, friendly-efficient service and a price that is lower than a hostel... what more could a man want?
I could list things if I was to compare to $300/night hotel. At the rate, there are no complaints...
